This anaerobically curing sealing product provides high temperature and chemical resistance on rigid, machined metal flanges.
LOCTITE 510 is a high-temperature-resistant anaerobic compound that cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces and forms an instant low-pressure seal. It is ideal for rigid flanges, especially in gearboxes and engine housings. The gap size without the use of an activator is up to 0.25 mm (0.01"). Recommended for use on aluminum and steel flanges.
